Vintage 1964 Fender Vibrolux Reverb 40-Watt 2x10" Guitar Amp Combo

Its time to experience authentic vintage Fender tones with this incredible Fender Vibrolux Reverb from 1964!  It's a rare find, and the sort that serious vintage amp aficionados will recognize and drool over.

This is the iconic imitable early '60s black panel era Vibrolux Reverb, a truly legendary amp.  It features 40-watts of tube power pumping out 2x10" speakers. Black panel Fender's are known for their full, lush, sparkly, chimey cleans and incredible reverb. You can crank it or put an overdrive pedal in front to get thick glorious overdriven tones that are especially articulate. This amp is a pre-CBS fender so you get the electronics pre-Master Volume configuration and components. These amps have been revered and imitated in amps, pedals, and even plug-in form.. Their great tone and versatility have made the stage and studio mainstays. 

This amp has had some work done - all normal stuff to keep it running right.  There's reason this amp has made it to its 60th birthday! . All its filter caps, dropping resistors, plate resistors, grid resistors, bias caps have been replaced. Additionally its three 100k ohm 1w Supply Resistors, all Bypass 25v Caps, and 3 Caps replaced with Sprague Orange Drops. Also 470 ohm Phase Splitter Resistors and  .022 30v Caps have been replaced.. Both Speakers have been replaced with 10” Celestions. Casters have been added as well. The transformer is all-original, as is everything else.

This vintage Vibrolux is in great condition, especially considering its age.  It has been vetted and tested to excellent working order by our amp tech, an expert on vintage amps like this.  You don't see many of these around and you won't see this one for long here!
