Pre Owned Vintage 1966 Fender Pro Reverb Guitar Amp Combo with Footswitch
Are you ready for the pro amp you've been waiting for? Here for sale is this vintage 1966 Fender Pro Reverb combo - a great find. This amp features 2 channels, dual 12" speakers, 40 watts, immaculate spring reverb and unbeatable tone!
Think of this as lower powered tone Twin Reverb (smaller transformers, half the power tubes, etc.), giving you volume friendly tone for home, studio, and stage. This has more headroom than a Deluxe but it's far more manageable than a Twin. A perfect amp for all occasions.
This Pro Reverb has a lot going on with it (as to be expected after this many decades). We had it checked out so we could fully report everything - here's what we know:
The amp had its resistors and capacitors replaced with premium upgraded components. The output transformer has been replaced with an upgrade of a legendary Mercury Magnetics transformer. Both of the speakers have been reconed and you get a tonal combination of an original speaker and a period-correct replacement speaker. The RCA wires have been replaced as well. There is now a 3-prong grounded A/C cord for sonic consistency.
This amp is in great condition, especially considering that's closing in on it's 60th birthday. It was recently vetted and serviced by legendary L.A. amp guru Greg Leon, and is ready to roll for serious playing.
