Used And Vintage Amps

When you want the best its time to go pro!  Here's this vintage 1967 Fender Pro Reverb combo that has been stage proven and comes with player modifications.  More details on that below, but first....

The Pro Reverb was created as a  lower powered Twin Reverb (smaller transformers, half the power tubes, etc.) to giving you the full tones at a volume friendly tone for home, studio, and stage. It also has more headroom than a Deluxe but it's far more manageable than a Twin.  A perfect amp for all occasions.

This vintage Pro Reverb has 2 channels, dual 12" speakers, 40 watts, immaculate spring reverb and combined with its modifications a unique tone of a classic amp. So if you're looking at getting a vintage with mods that bring sonic value but also make it more affordable, then this amp is for you.

This amp is in good condition and is really a player's Pro Reverb as it has been used and features player upgrades. It's been proven and is ready to roll for serious playing.   As with vintage amps especially one this age there is much to report and we aim for full disclosure.  We have had it fully vetted by a vintage amp expert, and are here are the details:

The power transformer has been replaced with an upgrade to a Mercury Magnetics transformer. It has two replaced speakers with a pair of Music Man speakers. All of the bypass connectors and filter capacitors have been replaced. The Bias Caps, Resistors, Ground Caps, Bias Diodes, Grid & Plate Resistors have also been replaced. The Back Panel is missing from the chassis. There is a big hole on the open back slot board and there is a drilled hole on the front panel that has been filled in. There is now a 3-prong grounded A/C cord for sonic consistency.

We don't see a lot of Pro Reverbs coming through, but when we have one, it tends to go fast.  We have a feeling that will be the case with this one!
