Pre Owned 1996 Fender 50th Anniversary Telecaster Custom Vintage White With Case
The internet was just picking up steam when this incredible Fender 50th Anniversary Telecaster was created. In the time since, the world has changed quite a bit but this guitar still brings everything you love from the ever-iconic Fender Telecaster!
Made in Japan, the model is based on an iconic guitar - the double-bound Telecaster Custom from the early 60's. But, this is a unique one. Check out the binding and headstock - those won't grab your attention, they'll take hold of it. You don't seen many Tele's like this.
You get the single-cut alder slab body but this one features a special pearloid binding on the top and back giving it a custom Tele look; paired with its vintage white finish and matching headstock, it's a striking look. With its vintage tint, this bolt-on maple neck also comes with a rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, and a slim neck profile that makes it a breeze to play. Also, there's a special 50th anniversary badge on the back of the headstock. With its gold hardware you get a premium experience.
Packed with a pair of Tele single-coil pickups you get all of the iconic tones. Whether its punchy rhythmic tones, cutting leads, or twangy tones these pickups deliver the goods. Easily navigate your favorite sounds with a master volume and tone control knobs with a 3-way pickup selector. There's a really why people say simple is better - and a Telecaster exemplifies that.
There is a six-saddle bridge, gold covers, gold knobs, and white switch tip. Tele's like this aren't seen every day, and this one stands out. The guitar looks amazing, plays great, and of course has a legendary sound. All in all this celebratory Telecaster brings you everything that has made it an icon.
A hardshell case is included. This guitar is in good condition - there's some honest player wear and dings, but nothing major, and definitely nothing that impacts the playability or sound. You may notice that the photos include close-up shots of finish cracks in the neck pocket - thankfully they are not severe or through the wood, so there are no stability issues or problems there. The techs in our shop have set the guitar up to play perfectly, so it's ready to go. Japanese-made Fender guitars like this one can be hard to find and tend to go quick - we have a feeling that will be the case with this one!
