Pre Owned 2012 Fender FSR Custom Telecaster HH Black With Gig Bag

If you're looking a Custom Telecaster that gives you sleek motorcar vibes with tonal performance to match, here's this Fender FSR Custom Telecaster HH in Black from 2012!  This was a small run done for a single retailer, so you don't see many of these around.  In fact, we had never seen one until this guitar made its way in the door - and this one has been upgraded with Tonerider pickups.

 

This is Custom Telecaster has a single-cut mahogany body with a carved top with a beautiful high gloss finish that shines. It is especially eye-catching with its vintage-tint binding for the top and neck. Speaking of neck it comes with a one-piece maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. The neck has comfy and familiar medium "C" neck profile with a flatter 12" radius with 22 frets and ornate dot inlays. 

 
Let's talk tone. This Tele was made for with a pair of EMG active pickups but the previous owner modified the guitar with a set of Tonerider Alnico 4 Classic humbuckers (both neck & bridge positions).  It's a matched set that, per Tonerider is pick sensitive, rich in harmonics and with a tight bass.  When you crank the gain, these pickups saturate quickly and start to “sing” harmonically, with a vocal, flutey quality – the mark of a great PAF!  All AC4 pickups are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come with four conductor wiring.

 

The guitar still has the battery comparent, so if you did want to revert it back having active pickups, you definitely could.

 

This guitar is great for a variety of styles and you can really dial in the sound you want.  There is the standard Master Volume, Master Tone, and 3-way pickup selector making it easy to find your tones on the fly.  Hardware-wise, this guitar has solid chrome bridge with individual flat saddles for impeccable control over intonation. Stay in tune with solid sealed tuners.  

 

This is a Tele that was made for power its in great condition and comes with a gig bag. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly, and it's ready to go!
