For those seeking a distinctive twist on a traditional design, the Gibson Mod Collection is the perfect choice. This special selection showcases the renowned guitar company's dedication to delivering one-of-a-kind models, rare finds, prototypes, and more. We've been fortunate to acquire a few of these gems and are enamored with each one. This particular model is especially intriguing as it is a Custom Shop-level ES-335, crafted as a unique, one-off creation.

This custom finished ES-335 has a slew of features that make this a unique Gibson. Right off the bat it comes with its "Barn Burner" natural finish that really stands out.  We haven't seen one like this before, and neither have you - because it's the only one made.

The thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish looks exceptional.  ES-335s are legendary semi-hollow guitars featuring a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with the classic "F-Holes" and maple block. The neck has rounded profile with 22 medium jumbo frets with a 12" radius and a Graphtec nut. Packed with a custom Burstbucker 1 in the neck and a Custombucker Alnico 2 in the bridge, you have incredible tones at your fingertips. This guitar is equally at home with clean or distorted settings with thick lush tones. 

This ES-335 comes with an ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece and a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners for tone, sustain, and stability. There is no pickguard and has black speed knobs with individual Volume and Tone controls for each pickup with a 3-way pickup selector. 

A feature that we fell in love with is the metallic copper/gold logo, as well as the special emblem on the back of the headstock.

At only 7.65 lbs this instrument is comfortable for long hours of playing. This wonderful Gibson is in excellent condition - the previous owner is a long-time regular that has become a great source for guitars like this, and he keeps everything in pristine shape.  The original hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
