Pre Owned 1995 Fender Custom Shop American Classic Stratocaster Black Holoflake with OHSC

For those looking for something special, here's quite the find: a mid-90's Fender Custom Shop American Classic Stratocaster, in an amazing finish called Black Holoflake.  We could try to describe the look, but a picture is worth a thousand words, so we'll pause here for a moment to allow you to scope out the photos.  Be sure to zoom in to see the detail.  It's truly stunning.

This is a high-quality American made Strat, from the John Page era of the Custom Shop, which is quite desirable.  The American Classic was the Fender Custom Shop's version of the American Standard strat, with overall better appointments.  It features a rock solid maple neck ("C" profile), 22 frets, and is topped off with a nicely figured rosewood fretboard that has a 9.5" radius, making it easy to play.  The alder body is light - this guitar weighs in at just 7.3 lbs.

Other features include a deluxe 2 point tremolo, classic tuning keys and a White Pearl pickguard.  The guitar is loaded with Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, giving you all of the ability to cut through that you'll ever need.  They are over-wound for increased output, and are made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire for great midrange bite with crystalline highs and tight bass.

Of course, the star of the show is the finish - it's one that's rarely seen.  Black Holoflake is like nothing else out there.  This guitar is sure to stand out.

Built in 1995, this Custom Shop American Classic Stratocaster has stood the test of time (hard to believe it's been 30 years since The Bends was released by Radiohead).   The guitar is in great condition, has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and comes with the original case.  This particular model/color is hard to find, so if you've come across it here, you've made quite the discovery!
