Pre Owned Fender Custom Shop 1969 Telecaster Thinline Teal Green Metallic With HSC

As part of an impressive collection, we just took in an absolutely sublime Fender Custom Shop guitar.  Anything like this is special, and it's in a color rarely seen.  Here we present this beautiful 1969 Thinline Telecaster in Teal Green Metallic and it's a true winner.

This guitar was built in 2005, as part of the Time Machine series.  It seems as though the previous owner barely played it, as evidenced by how good the neck and frets look.   The maple neck sports a 60 Style Oval "C" profile, the most popular choice for Custom Shop guitars.  With a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, it's comfortable to play without the worry of fretting out.  That, along with the pickups, give this vintage styled guitar just the right amount of modernization.  The alder body is lightweight, and if you're into Thinlines, of course that's important - this guitar comes in at just 6.5 lbs.

Incredible tone comes from the Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, which are crafted to provide blistering leads while also cleaning up nicely, making it a very versatile guitar.  Texas Special pickups are over-wound for increased output, and are made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire for outstanding presence and midrange. With the neck pickup you can also dial in a nice warm Telecaster tone; the bridge pickup features height-staggered pole pieces and copper-plated steel bottom plate.
