The 1959 Les Paul is a true icon and represents what truly makes a Les Paul. This reissue is a fantastic recreation of those amazing instruments. With its AAA flame maple top and an-all mahogany bounded slab body with the distinct single-cutaway for perfect access to the bounded laurel fingerboard. This body is resonant with the mahogany and maple as the perfect combination for full rich tones with sustain and snap. The set mahogany neck features a long tenon and rounded '59 neck profile for rock hard stability and comfort with the profile being slightly thicker than the standard slim profiles. 
 
The 1959 Les Pauls are known for their punch and power, thanks in part to its dual humbucking pickups. This reissue instrument is blessed with a pair of vintage-voiced CustomBucker pickups. These pickups are prized for their thick tones, perfect for any style but really excels with overdriven settings. These pickups are open, dynamic, with high-fidelity and this one is rarer guitar as the are not usually equipped on Epiphone Les Pauls. In addition this Epi Les Paul comes with the '50s-style wiring, Switchcraft jack, CTS potentiometers, and Mallory capacitors, giving you the most authentic Epiphone Les Paul. 
The authenticity doesn't end there. This instrument comes with top hat control knobs that feature old-school nickel pointers as well as a Historic Reissue tailpiece, classic deluxe tuners, and ABR-style bridge.
 
This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  We just got it from one our favorite sources, a longtime customer of ours that keeps all of his gear in pristine shape.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to go!
