What's better than one? Or two? How about three pickups?! Up for sale is this incredible Gibson 1961 Les Paul SG Custom in the illuminating Polaris White. This is a guitar that is built from the ground up for performance and tone.

1961 was a big transition year for the Les Paul as it transformed from the single-cut body to the the double-cut body that would be the predecessor to the SG. You've got the leaner mahogany body with deep cutaways. It comes with a bounded set mahogany neck that has a comfortable 60s SlimTaper profile with an ebony fingerboard that is adorned with custom mother of pearl inlays. The headstock is bound and features a classic diamond inlay.

This Gibson Les Paul SG Custom is packed with three powerful Custombucker humbucker pickups. These pickups give you full, rich, thick tones that are perfect for any style of music whether its cleaner or dirtier settings. With three of them you get a wide array of tones to choose from and provides a truly unique sound. How many guitars have a middle bridge pickup sound? This one! Easily find your tones with a 3-way pickup selector with two sets of Volume and Tone for the neck and bridge pickups. 

This incredibly stylish Les Paul SG Custom comes with gold hardware, pickup covers, and tuners.  The Polaris White finish is great match for this.  You don't see many of these out there, and this one in particular is a great find.

This guitar is in great condition - there is some player wear, as to be expected, but nothing significant, and just the right amount for seasoning.  The original hardshell case is included, as is the paperwork.  It's the complete package.  The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready for it's next home.
