This Alvarez Yairi JYM80CE is a stunning acoustic electric guitar from the skilled luthiers in Kani, Japan.  We just took it in from once of our favorite sources - a long-time customer that's a collector who keeps all of his guitars in pristine shape.  This one is no exception.

The Yairi JYM80CE is a handcrafted masterpiece that boasts a FST2 bracing system, incorporating center scooped and asymmetric scalloping for optimal string separation, balance, and projection.  This gives the guitar a sound that is extremely resonant and powerful.  The top is meticulously crafted to allow for maximum vibration and movement, while the Jumbo body shape adds power, punch, and clarity.

The gorgeous rippling solid flamed maple backs and sides add to the overall aesthetic and acoustic quality. Additionally, the guitar features a solid AAA grade sitka spruce top and is outfitted with a LR Baggs VTC system with Element pickup and sound hole console. The Direct Coupled Bridge further showcases the expert craftsmanship of this instrument, providing a responsive feel and enhanced volume and sustain. With hand cut and assembled pearl and ablone inlays, ivoroid binding, and an ebony fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins, the Alvarez Yairi JYM is truly an exquisite instrument. 

Expertly crafted with the finest tonewood and seasoned for 5-15 years in Kani's pristine climate, the Yairi JYM80CE boasts the quality of a true Masterwork guitar.  Located in Gifu prefecture, Kani boasts ideal conditions for guitar building, ensuring the structural integrity and long-lasting performance. The local wood preparation process and environment are crucial factors in achieving this high level of quality.

We rarely see Yairi builds coming through, and whenever we do, we are thoroughly impressed.  The fit & finish is unrivaled, especially for the price point.  This guitar is in excellent, like new condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  It comes with its original hardshell case.   Don't go big, go Jumbo!
