Pre Owned Greer Mini Chief 3-Watt Grey Guitar Amp Head & Matching 2x12 Cabinet

The name might be Mini Chief but this little 3-watt amp head is big on tube tone!!

This Greer Mini Chief is packed with legendary Mercury Magnetics transformers and is hand-wired. The original tube set is an EL84 matched with an 12AX7. You get an excellent of tones that closely resemble everything from a small Vox-style amp to Marshall-esque grit and drive. All of this at volume levels that are also giggable.

It doesn't end there - this Mini Chief can have its tubes swapped to change its tonal characteristics. Swap out the 12AX7 for a 12AT7/ECC81 and now you have more clean headroom. This versatile head also features 4, 8, and 16 ohm outputs perfect for any cabinet you wanna match it with.

But....

This is an amp package that includes its matching 2x12" cabinet! This is a pine cabinet that has a milk paint finish that has a Nitrocellulose topcoat that lets the cabinet breathe and improves its tonal response over time. At the heart of this fantastic cabinet is a pair of high quality Celestion speakers, a Greenback 25-watt and Vintage 30. This dyanimc duo of speakers gives you a great combination of tonal responses. Two speakers are better than one and this is shinning example.

This amp package is in excellent condition and it comes with its power cable and a speaker cable.
