The new single channel 30/15 is pared down but is capable of producing an incredible range of tone that will satisfy any pro. Everything you love about Matchless is evident in this workhorse including rock-solid build quality, the highest quality parts and stunning tone.
Powered by a quad of EL84s, the 30/15 can be operated at 30 watts or at 15 watts with two of the power tubes de-activated. Controls are volume, tone and master volume, along with Reverb, Depth and Speed for the Tremolo. Sweet and simple. This is fed through a high quality 12" speaker proprietary to Matchless, perfectly voiced to suit the tone of this amp.
Like all Matchless amplifiers, the 30/15 is hand made, point to point wired and tough as nails. It's easy to dial in. It's fun to play. It sounds amazing. And the quality can't be beat.
The 30/15 is a somewhat rare amp, as Matchless makes very few of them like this, complete with reverb and tremolo. Being just down the street from each other here in Los Angeles/Santa Monica, it's always easy (and enjoyable) for us to swing in there. And that's exactly what we did when they called saying that this 30/15 was available.
