Pre Owned 2008 Hamer Newport Pro Vintage Natural Electric Guitar With OHSC
Up for grabs (and it won't last long) is this remarkable Hamer Newport Pro hailing from 2009. You don't see many of these around, and when you do, they tend to vanish quickly. Originally founded in 1973 by Paul Hamer and Jol Dantzig, Hamer Guitars is considered the first boutique vintage style electric guitar brand that aimed its instruments at professional musicians. The company changed hands over the years, and by the late 2000's, it ended up with Fender. In 2009, this Hamer Newport Pro was built, right here in the USA.
This is a semi-hollow body that is perfect for any style of music. Armed with a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers and center-block construction this guitar is equally at home with clean or distorted tones. The body is a carved AAA spruce top with a mahogany back & sides adding up to a toneful body, which is especially resonant with the twin F-holes. Unplugged, this guitar is a lot of fun to play - and when amplified, it's amazing. The neck is a comfortable "C" shape with a 24 3/4" scale. It's truly a pleasure to play.
Stay in tune with a Tonepros bridge and Schaller tuners. You get incredibly simple controls to find your best tones with just a single Volume knob and Tone knob, and a pickup selector. That's it! And that's all you need.
This is a beautiful instrument with tone to boot. This Hamer Pro is in excellent condition - it's clear that the previous owner took good care of it. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. Not only is the original hardshell case included, but so is a Certificate of Authenticity.
This model is a rare find, especially if you're on the hunt for one in such great shape, with the COA. Get it now before it's gone!
