A super cool, true beauty with a rich, shimmering tone that can fill any room, the Guild F-212XL is one of the best 12-string acoustics out there. This one just came in and is in great shape. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, so the guitar is ready to perform straight out of the case. You can also take it straight to the stage, as this one has been outfitted with an L.R. Baggs pickup/preamp - that's a nice upgrade.
Since the early '50s, Guild has made fantastic acoustic guitars. Their fine products have been revered far and wide for their amazingly balanced tone. The USA-made Guild F-212XL Standard jumbo guitar is a modest and straightforward version of one of Guild's most comfortable models to play. Its back and sides are made of bold solid mahogany, and a top of solid sitka spruce braced by scalloped red spruce gives the F-212XL phenomenal projection. Topped with a pure nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this simple work of excellent craftsmanship is sure to maturing continuously, gaining richer and more colorful tonal qualities over the years.
This Guild F-212XL is a powerhouse of a guitar, with a stunning resonant projection. The original case is included and it's in excellent condition, with just a few finish scratches that are hard to see. For anyone looking for a quality 12-string acoustic made in America, upgraded with an LR Baggs system, at a relatively affordable price, this is hard to beat.
