Pre-Owned 2020 Rickenbacker 4003 Mapleglo Bass Guitar With OHSC

Time to slappa da bass!  Ok, maybe not slap, but at least finger, pluck, thumb or pick.  After all, this is a Rickenbacker.

We have this awesome Rickenbacker 4003 Mapleglo bass from 2020, which appears to have never really been played.  It's like new, in the sense that it's clean and even still has the American flag sticker on the pickguard (which, as we all know, is a serious thing for Rickenbacker fanatics).  This bass is impressive in aesthetics, feel, and most importantly incredible tones. There is a reason legendary bass players such as Paul McCartney, Chris Squier, and Lemmy have all used Rickenbacker basses.

A Rickenbacker 4003 features the same components and construction since it first debuted. You get a maple neck thru body construction with two wings of maple to form the iconic deep double-cutaway body. This body is lightweight and gives plenty of snap to your bass tone. The maple and walnut neck has a comfortable neck profile with a gloss finished rosewood fingerboard with distinct triangular inlays with 20 nickel frets. 

The tonal center of this iconic bass is its pickups and electronics. The Rickenbacker 4003 comes with Hi-Gain single-coil pickups. These pickups provide clear, articulate, and punchy tones that really shine in the mid-range with plenty of bite. The electronics feature individual volume and tone settings for each pickup with a 3-way pickup selector. This gives you a wide range of tones to choose from. This bass is equally at home with clean or distorted settings all with a presence all its own.

This Rickenbacker 4003 Mapleglo is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to roll.
