Up for sale is one of the most popular Rickenbackers ever made, the Rickenbacker 330! This beautiful model comes in the fiery instrument comes in a Fireglo finish. This is the guitar that has been used by such greats as Tom Petty, Pete Townshend, and Johnny Marr. The 330 has a classic semi-hollow maple body shaped like a crescent moon, with Hi-Gain pickups for a jangly, sparkly, British-infused tone.

Originally designed by the renowned luthier Roger Rossmeisl, the Rickenbacker 330 was first introduced in 1958 and has remained a sought-after instrument ever since. It boasts various elements that are characteristic of Rickenbacker guitars such as a three-ply maple/walnut neck, a shallow headstock angle, and a thick rosewood fretboard completed with clear conversion varnish. Additionally, the 330 showcases the iconic "crescent moon" double-cutaway body shape with unbound edges and a unique "R"-shaped trapeze tailpiece.

Impeccable acoustic research has produced the immensely satisfying and warm tone of this highly sought-after model. Two single coil pickups, placed on a full-sized body, are complemented by a traditional sound hole. The 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard is embellished with dot inlay fret markers, while the full double cutaways allow for full access to the frets.

The Rickenbacker 330, like all Rickenbacker models, is manufactured in the United States, specifically within the Rickenbacker factory located in California. This is a fantastic instrument in good condition (especially considering it's age) with just normal scratches and a little ding.  The guitar comes with its original hardshell case.  This is quite the find!
