No cattle call, just great bass tone with this awesome Danelectro Shorthorn Short-Scale Bass in Copper. 

You get the deep double-cutaway body and this super light masonite body which is perfect for long periods of playing and is quite resonant. The shorter scale with 24 frets makes it even more comfortable to play. You'll love the tone of the lipstick pickups which give you more bite and articulation. You have individual volume and tone controls for each pickup all via super cool vintage-style stacked chicken-head knobs. And if you really want to thump with this one a lot of players have put flat wound strings for a more rounder tone.

This bass is in excellent shape and it's been setup by the techs in our shop and plays great.  Whenever we get one of these, it goes quick, and this one will too!
