Fretless low end lovers rejoice, we have an incredible bass in stock, this Ibanez GWB205 Gary Willis Fretless 5-string bass! This is a collaboration with legendary bassist Gary Willis and Ibanez to give you an instrument that is unlike any other with a host of features to give you an expansive range of tones.
This 5-string powerhouse features a lightweight ash body that is sleek and contoured and has deep cutaways for plenty of access to the fingerboard. This Ibanez has a titanium-reinforced maple neck with fretless ebony fingerboard with a comfortable slim neck profile that also features fretlines for impeccable intonation. Gary Willis basses are well-known for their Willis ramp a unique removable thumbrest between both pickups to give you a stable rest perfect for any playing but especially useful for more muted notes.
The heart of this bass is its Bartolini active pickup and electronics. You get a powerful Bartolini GWB humbucker that deliver all the punch, articulation, and low end you'll need for any style of music and you can easily dial in your desired tones with Bartolini's excellent NTBT active 2-band onboard EQ with a stacked pot for tweaking treble and bass.
This Ibanez GWB205 is stacked with Ibanez's classic bridge and stylish black hardware with two strap buttons which provide excellent balance if you want to lean the bass on amp.
This killer fretless V is in excellent condition and comes with a gig bag. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to go!
