This brand new model was just released recently so there are not very many used ones out there (or none).  This one in particular was the first we had, sold the day of the launch to a longtime regular customer of ours.  It was only played a couple of times before he decided he needed a small body acoustic - so the guitar is essentially new, at a great price.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to go, with the original softshell case.

The Baggs AEG-1 Acoustic Electric Guitar is the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to high-performance acoustic amplification, all rooted in the craftsmanship of a luthier. LR Baggs founder and master luthier, Lloyd Baggs, began his journey as a guitar maker, creating instruments for artists like Ry Cooder, Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, and Janis Ian. His deep respect for the guitar evolved into a quest to faithfully amplify his own instruments for live performance.

The guitar itself is a slightly smaller thinner dreadnaught size with a comfortable body contour and a cutaway for full access to the fingerboard.  You get a beautiful and resonant body with Rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top with a luxurious gloss finish over a stylish Sunburst. Acoustically it has the top end sparkle with deep full tones. The  bolt-on mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard comes with slimmer "C" profile. This makes the guitar extremely comfortable in the hands. 

With years of experience studying acoustics and pioneering advancements in pickups and electronics, the AEG-1 embodies everything learned about acoustic sound and amplification.
