This Les Paul gives you everything you'd want from its time-honored construction and high-quality components you get incredible tones and feel.
This Goldtop gives you the winning tonewood combination with a mahogany body with a maple top. This combo gives you resonance, warmth from the body while the stiffness of the top gives you plenty of snap and brightness. It is finished with the finest gold finish ever made. The mahogany neck comes with a rounded 50s neck profile and 12" radius that is a bit thicker than the modern profiles and quite comfortable. It comes with a rosewood fingerboard with the classic block inlays and 22 historic narrow tall frets for a true vintage feel. Both neck and body feature the distinct cream binding adding style and comfort.
The electronics of any electric guitar are incredibly important and this historic reissue provides you an excellent bedrock of pickups for incredible vintage tones. You get a pair of Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. These pickups easily provide legendary thick, dynamic tones that are equally excellent with clean or dirtier amp settings with ample sustain. This combined with its individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and 3-way pickup selector, make it incredibly easy to find your favorite sounds. Need thick rhythms, throw it on the neck pickup. Want cutting leads, throw it on the bridge pickup.
This reissue comes with its stopbar tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, and classic Kluson tuners. All in all this is an incredible instrument especially for the player looking for a classic Goldtop!
This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case, hang tags and paperwork (but not certificate of authenticity). It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready for it's next home.
