Stuart Guitars LAFD with Painting - Pamelina H Collection

Pamelina H. is one of the most renowned guitar painters in the world.  Her legendary work has adorned many Fender Custom Shop instruments, as well as ones built by Gibson, Ibanez, Jackson, Gretsch and many others.  Her work is truly one of a kind, and we are proud to be working with Pamelina on this special project.  In 2011, she partnered with a number of the world's top builders to create a batch of guitars, each of which has a corresponding painting by her.   They have been held in her vault ever since, and now, more than a decade later, we are presenting them as the Pamelina H. Collection, exclusively here at Truetone Music.

Pamelina H. and Fred Stuart worked on several projects together while at Fender's Custom Shop, the most notable being the Velvet Elvis Telecaster. Among the many artists for whom Fred has built guitars are Danny Gatton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Sheryl Crow, Eddie Van Halen, Billy Gibbons and many more. Fred was instrumental in the establishment of the Fender Custom Shop, going all the way back to its origin in 1987.  He's a founding Masterbuilder, and regarded as one of the most talented builders in the world.

Pamelina has spent nearly half of her life living in Los Angeles. She's been commissioned by many men and women in fire departments. This artwork figures a classic pin-up in fire gear posed in front of a toy fire truck. In the background is a photo of the Van Nuys fire station which first opened in July 1939, and is the oldest active station in the LAFD.

This guitar is their first independent collaboration.  This isn't just an amazing instrument built by a legendary luthier; it's a work of art itself.  Pamelina's unique style lends itself to mediums such as this, and the end result is an amazing one of a kind guitar.  To make it more special, the original artwork is included as part of the package.  The painting itself is incredible, and paired with the guitar, this makes for quite the addition to any serious guitar/art collection.  Also included is a print and Certificate of Authenticity.

There is only one of these out there, and it cannot be recreated.  The combining of mediums, the fusing of music & art, and adding the touch of collectibility makes this extremely special.
