We Are Officially Open!
The new Truetone Music is ready! It's been a long wait, and it's finally over - we are now ready to unlock the front door to our new location and welcome all of you in. As of right now, the soft opening is underway (news on a grand opening will come after the holidays).
First things first, thank you for your patience and support over this time period. It hasn't been easy but we've made it through because of you, our customers and friends. We're here to stay, because of and for you.
For those that don't know, after 25 years on Santa Monica Blvd, we relocated. The new location is at 1102 Broadway, just a few blocks away. We were fully set on staying in Santa Monica, but to find a spot in the same neighborhood was a bonus. We've been building out the facility through the course of this year, which has been quite the process. What we've done is created, from scratch, a whole new experience at Truetone. Here are some highlights:
- Expanded electric guitar display
- Dedicated acoustic room
- Soundproof amp area with 5 separate rooms including 3 isolated tryout booths
- Effects pedal display with over 800 pedals
- Expanded repair shop
- A real breakroom for staff (we didn't have this before!)
- Isolated office/studio with professional photography and video capabilities
- 19 reserved parking spots behind the building and street parking on Broadway (Yes, you will be able to park here without driving around the block over and over. The parking lot is accessed from 11th Street. And it's free.)
Between the new acoustic room, as well as the soundproofed amp rooms, sound polution will be cut down dramatically compared to the old store. That means you'll have a much better experience getting to properly hear your potential new instrument in peace.
There are still final touches, furniture, signage, etc. to take care of, but we couldn't wait any longer to open up again. We could tell you more about the store but this message is really to say come on in!
