Pre Owned Mike Moody Magic Fender Vibro Deluxe Guitar Amp Combo - Stephen Stern Collection

One of the most interesting pieces is this unbelievable amp crafted by esteemed boutique amp builder Mike Moody of Magic Amps.  A Southern California native, Moody started modifying amps and building his own to satisfy the needs of local gigging musicians like himself.  This one was built for Stephen Stern, who utilized it for years and is now ready to part with it.

Featuring an Electro-Voice Black Shadow 12" speaker, this amp has the looks of a '65 Deluxe Reverb but the innards of a '63 Vibroverb.  Mike Moody designed it to get the best of classic, vintage Fender tones even at a lower volume, making it ultra usable on small stages, in the studio or at home.  There's a reason that serious players sought these out, and guitarists like Julian Lage made it a mainstay in their rig.  Built by hand, Moody created a truly magical version of a Fender amp.  22 watts and a load of killer tone, this is a premium amp that is hard to find.  

The amp is in excellent condition, and all original as to how Mike Moody built it; Stern has kept it in nice shape.  The blonde tolex is clean and the brown grill cloth looks great.

Any Mike Moody built amp is a great find, but especially one like this.  Included is a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Stephen Stern.  This isn't just an amazing amplifier, it's also a piece of history, and truly collectible.
