Pre Owned Kramer Focus 3000 HSS With Floyd Rose Metallic Blue With OHSC
For fans of 80's guitars, Kramer represents something special, and a Focus 3000 holds a special place in hearts. From the slim waist to the matching headstock to the Floyd Rose tremolo, this example in Metallic Blue represents the coolest of Kramer.
There have been various versions over the years, signified by their different headstocks. Built in Japan in the mid 80's, this is the "non-bananana heastock" version. We believe this version with the standard headstock was made from 1984 to 1987. The Focus was one of Kramer's first Japanese-made mdels, with a number of variations (1000, 2000, 3000, etc. all the way to 8000). The Focus 3000 has become the most desired, and we were lucky enough to take in a great one recently.
The maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard has 22 frets, pearl dot inlays, and a locking nut. It's slim, fast, and ready to be shred upon. The guitar has an HSS pickup configuration, and the pickups sound amazing - bright, lively and powerful. They definitely pack a punch. After all, this isn't a jazz guitar - it's meant for rocking! The Floyd Rose tremolo is there for all of your dive bombing needs.
As far as we can tell, this one is all original, as is the case. Full disclosure on the case - one of the latches is busted (but it still holds closed). The guitar was just given a full fret dressing here, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. For any fan of Kramer, this is a serious score!
