We don't often see inspiration drawn from the 1990s, as it wasn't that long ago, but we've heard that fashion (and guitars) of that era are back in vogue.  If that's the case, we'll be glad to bust out the flannel and wallet chains, but first....check out this Eastwood Surfcaster Doubleneck!

The regular 6 string Surfcaster and its 12 string counterpart are a couple of our favorite releases from Eastwood.  But there's another, much lesser-known Surfcaster model that combines the best of both of these guitars... quite literally!  Not much is known about the Surfcaster Doubleneck, other than the fact that only a handful of them were made between 1992 and 1993. Eastwood felt that a handful is too few... so they brought it back.  And we are quite happy that they did!

The body is chambered mahogany, helping to redue weight, with a maple top, accented nicely by cream binding.  Both of the bolt-on necks (25 1/2 scale lengths) are maple, with real rosewood fretboards.  In a throwback to the '90's, shark fin inlays appear and give the guitar a modern edge to the look.  Dual vintage lipstick single pickups provide the classic sound.  Continuing with the electronics, you get a master Volume and master Tone, two individual 3-way switches (pickup selection on each neck), as well as a a Master 3-way switch.  There are a ton of sounds you can get out of this instrument.

Considering the price, this is incredibly well built, easy to play double neck.  It's rare to find something like this anywhere, which is why we always try to have it.  As an added bonus, this one comes with a fitted hardshell case.  Think about how hard it would be to find something to fit a guitar like this!
