We have a truly super vintage piece in stock, this vintage 1949 Fender Super Amp - a wonderful timepiece that's a prime example of classic iconic amp craftmenship.  Hard to find and always high in demand, late 40's Fender amps are true treasures.
 
Leo Fender created an amazing line of tubes that have become legends that produces tones that are still sought after.  The Super eveolved from the Dual Professional, renamed the Super in 1947.  This is an incredibly early version that still has the V-front with metal guard in the center of front of the grille. You get a powerful 40-watt amp, powered by a pair 6L6 power tubes, with the classic 5B4 circuit design.  There have been modifications to improve your tonal experience, which are as follows:
 
This fine vintage amp has been revamped with a re-grille and tweed recovering. The power switch has been replaced and an AC cord has been added and a newer fuser holder. Some additional changes including the filter caps, bias cap, bypass caps, and almost of the caps having been replaced.

With its original speakers you have a vintage piece that's gonna give you warm tones that when cranked up gives you an incredible overdriven tone.  There's only one way to get this sound, and this is it.

This is an incredible vintage amp that is quite rare and in good condition.   It was recently serviced and vetted by legendary Los Angeles area amp guru Greg Leon.  This is serious score for any serious collector, studio or fan of vintage Fender amps.  To find a '49 Super like this is a rare occassion, and it's sure to go quick!
