Pre Owned 1993 Tom Anderson Classic Lavender With Case

You're in the big leagues and it's time to go pro with a true classic - get equipped with this Tom Anderson Classic.   This instrument hails from 1993, and much like Jurassic Park of that year this is a blockbuster guitar.

You get a sleek S-style body contoured into one of the most recognizable double-cut body shapes ever in a beautiful Lavender finish. The alder body is lightweight and resonant.  Knock it out with its bolt-on hard rock maple neck that provides excellent snap and sustain.  It has the Even Taper neck shape, the most popular for Tom Anderson guitars....easy to play all night without fatigue, and the satin finish is a pleasure.  

With its HSS pickup configuration you get a powerful humbucker in the bridge with a pair of single-coil pickups to give you a wide range of fantastic tones. A truly unique feature of this Tom Anderson guitar is its electronics - it features the Switcheroo system (Series/Split) with Vintage Voicing.  There are two key aspects to this:

 - The guitar is equipped with Andersons Switcharoo system, allowing for series wiring to be assigned to each pickup. By customizing the switches, it is possible to combine the middle single coil pickup with a split neck humbucker and activate the blower switch for a full lead tone with the bridge humbucker. This system offers exceptional versatility.
 - Vintage voicing is a passive circuit that is switched on and off automatically so that the single coil pickups think they are seeing a 250K pot while the humbucking is seeing a 500K pot.

 

There is no level of expression out of range, all with the rock-solid tuning stability. The Kahler tremolo assembly will let you dive down to really get that solo flowing.....all around, this guitar can do a ton.

This Tom Anderson Classic is in excellent condition, especially considering that it's over 30 years old. The previous owner took great care of it.  The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. A nice hardshell case is included.
